We are excited to announce the appointment of Paul “Rusty” Thomas as the Chief Executive Officer of EnduroSat USA. In this role, he’ll establish key customer partnerships in support of EnduroSat’s goal of providing fixed-cost and highly configurable end-to-end space services to the US market.

‘’Rusty is a perfect fit to lead our US business efforts because of his experience delivering innovative space solutions to both commercial and government customers. As we continue to expand our presence in the United States, from satellite integration and testing to mission operations, Rusty’s leadership will be instrumental in helping our customers achieve the next wave of innovations in orbit.’’
Raycho Raychev
Founder and CEO of EnduroSat

Rusty Thomas has spearheaded the development of several significant projects, starting with Motorola’s Iridium satellite network, the first major commercial constellation. At SpaceX, he led production of the Dragon spacecraft and the reusable Falcon 9’s landing legs. In recent years, Rusty ran the DoD premier proliferated LEO demo Project Blackjack, founded Amazon’s Kuiper Government Solutions (KGS) team, and oversaw technology for Sierra Space’s Dream Chaser spaceplane. He brings over 35 years of experience in scaling and commercializing space infrastructure to EnduroSat at a pivotal moment, as the company’s new generation of ESPA-class satellite buses is poised to eliminate complexity and drastically reduce time-to-orbit.

‘’EnduroSat is uniquely positioned to transform the space industry with its new generation of modular satellite buses designed for high-throughput manufacturing. With the technology we are bringing to market, we are enabling a massive expansion of possible applications and creating the opportunity for our customers to accelerate their speed of innovation in space programs. Our approach ensures that a wide range of payload and mission developers can turn their visions into reality faster and at a lower price point, making space more accessible than ever before.’’

By the end of this year, EnduroSat will be able to produce 60 ESPA-class satellites per month using a standardized, fully modular design that supports a variety of mission types—including Earth observation, communications, and defense applications. The next steps for our US expansion include tripling our team in Denver and opening an office in Washington, D.C.
