SPACE DATA FOR THE EUROPEAN ECONOMY

Objectives

  • Design, engineer, qualify and get to market entirely new and innovative advanced communication modules;

  • Initiate innovative Space-to-Ground service (through a Ground station)

  • Deploy a functioning satellite-to-ground communication infrastructure, opening unprecedented opportunity to download, upload and transmit vast amount of data (Tens of Gigabytes per day) from space

  • Lower exponentially the cost of the space data

  • Connect directly European SMEs, industry and academia through unique educational resources, enabling the establishment of new markets for European space sector

  • Offer FREE educational communication modules for simulation of satellite signals in the class-room and advance training on InnoSpaceComm products and services;

  • Increase the positive impact of the strategic EU programs Galileo GNSS and Copernicus Remote Sensing programs

Deliverables

  • Deliver to market outstanding class-leading space communication modules and Ground station as a fraction of the cost and in significantly shorter time

  • Reach at least 1500 space and non-space organizations as clear and potential stakeholders through EnduroSat online satellite store and direct online marketing;

  • Accomplish at least 50 live demonstrations of the advanced modules and this capability as well as 10 demonstrations of the Ground Station service

  • Reach 45 000 students on EU-level as users of “InnoSpaceTool” and more than 5000 schools and universities

  • Provide 150 demo space communication kits to schools and universities in EU: “Free space demo module” initiative

  • Reach at least 250 000 viewers on online social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube) as an outreach effort, informing about the benefit of the disruptive InnoSpaceComm products and services.

Market Requirements

  • Need for ever higher speed of transfer data from and to space

  • Demand for significantly lower cost per GB from space to Ground

  • Shorten times for purchase and initialization of space communication services
